On Thanksgiving Day 2023, I died five times. I have not been able to return to other work since. What I have done instead is write — books, articles, teaching — for God, full time, because that is the commission I was given in those moments between life and death. Your gift does not buy a product. It sustains the labor itself: the cost of keeping this website running, the computer and equipment this work is written on, and the time it takes to bring a manuscript from midnight pages to a finished book.
Scripture says the one who labors in teaching the Word deserves support: “Anyone who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor” (Galatians 6:6). Elsewhere Paul writes, “The worker deserves his wages” (1 Timothy 5:18). This ministry runs on that principle.
